A Big Yes and a small no

Currently mixing a new full length due out in fall of 2016! After surviving a kidnapping in Colombia, an acquittal for felony assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, and a bastard of a heroin addiction, Kevin Kendrick decided that life was too short to keep playing music his heart wasn't in. In the summer of 2008 featuring Kendrick’s former Fat Mama band mates Jonathan Goldberger on guitar, Erik Deutsch on keyboards, Joe Russo on drums, Jonti Siman on bass, as well as Moira Meltzer-Cohen on backing vocals, he formed Brooklyn-based A big Yes and a small no. By fall, they began playing their brand of hyper-educated, condescending, expressionist avant-pop around their hometown of New York City. In February 2007, A big Yes headed into the studio to record their much anticipated debut album Jesus That Looks Terrible On You, which was released in May, 2008 to heavy college radio play and critical acclaim. A follow-up EP Too Little, Too Late was released in 2011, and after a brief hiatus, Kevin Kendrick is currently mixing a full length due out in Fall of 2016. Read more on Last.fm.
