Quinn Erwin

Quinn Erwin is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His music gives nods to his influences; particularly artists like Travis, The Frames, Death Cab for Cutie, Genesis, and Pete Yorn, but when asked how he would describe his music he often replies that it sounds like “hope and fear colliding.” Quinn has been writing and performing for the past 12 years, working toward creating and perfecting an original sound to bring a new voice to modern music. He released his first e.p. A New Day in January 2009, and this past May 2010, he released his full length record A Million Miles Away produced by Jeremy McCoy (bass player for The Fray). Quinn was the grand prize winner of the 2010 Jansport Battle of the Bands, and played at The Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY alongside The Flaming Lips, The Smashing Pumpkins, Spoon, and She & Him. He was also named IMVU Artist of the Month in August 2010. When he is not playing, Quinn spends his days teaching high school English, reading good books, and enjoying the company of his beautiful wife. Read more on Last.fm.
