UK, London. Still. Crashtv was a band. It is now the remixing arm of their new band called Slunq. The crashtv website now reflects this by focussing on the remixes, with just a totally unexplained 2 pages of their previous life as the *band* crashtv ie CDs for sale at CDBaby and iTunes. Not helpful but you CAN listen to each song from each album at CDBaby. There is no info at the site about anything. There is even less info at Last.fm from crashtv as remixers, but their website has over 40 remixes in high quality streaming - from Britney Spears to NIN to Radiohead to several bands most of us won't have heard of, mainly because they are not UK or USA bands/artists. crashtv NOW, it seems, is a stripped down unit of peter and chris - founder members of crashtv the band many many years ago, and they are brothers. They are starting a new band with Daniel Knowler (leisur hive http://www.last.fm/music/Leisur+Hive ) called Slunq (minimal presence at last fm). --------------------- Crashtv WAS a rock/pop/alternative band based in London, England. The band's music has been described as "industrial strength Beatles" and "Nine Inch Nails meets Duran Duran". There is an 11 track CD album "Machinecod" (iTunes and elsewhere). The 12 track album "Sound Put" was released in June 2008 (iTunes and elsewhere) and was considerably better recorded. Both are 5 US Dollars digital download. Might be a deal if you get both. Both are still available as CD according to CD Baby checks. ---------- Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
