There are at least four Recliners: 1)Recliner has recorded three self-released CDs, their eponymous debut "Recliner", "Make A Friend" and most recently "Tranquilizer." The last two were recorded at the Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco on analog tape. Their "All Pleasure" video was an underdog hit on Fuse TV, and the LP is featured on two-thousand web-powered jukeboxes across the country, compliments of a deal with Ecast Inc. You can also find Recliner tracks on various 2KSports video games, as well as digital distributors the world over. 2) A solo project by Ron Roesing, with at least one double cd "Hope-fullness and the Oh-So Finite Happiness". He was a member of The Marked, a band with Billy Corgan who later went on to form the Smashing Pumpkins. 3) A downtempo electro-pop outfit from New Zealand formed by singer-songwriter Guy Wishart and Belinda Bradley in 2004. The current lineup also includes bassist Vernon Rive, Backing vocalist Darlene Te Young, sampler/synthesist Perry Bradley and drummer Michael Te Young. Their debut album, Rest Room, was released in New Zealand in late 2006 and serviced to American radio in the spring of 2007. Recliner have just finished recording their 2nd album due for release early 2009. 4) A collaborative project between Babyland's Dan Gatto and Vampire Rodents' Daniel Vahnke from the early 90's, mainly appearing on Chase's If It Moves... compilations (pre-Re-Constriction Records), Gatto providing vocals and lyrics for Vahnke's typical VR-style tracks. Several of these songs were retitled as Vampire Rodents and appeared on Vampire Rodents' "Clockseed" and "Lullaby Land" albums. Read more on Last.fm.
