In 1991, young students of the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf / Germany founded together a music group called Koma Mizgîn. International music coming from Kurdistan, Netherlands and Germany was the focus of the early band members. Later predominantly Kurdish songs were played at events of German universities. At festivals and events such as at the opening of the Rhine promenade in Düsseldorf's the band's own music was presented. Between 1993 and 1994, an own radio show at the "Bürgerfunk" Antenne Düsseldorf has been produced. This was followed by appearances in several European countries as a contribution to the multicultural society in the process, such as at the Carnival in Pomigliano near Naples in 1999. In the same year appeared the first album "Rê" and a project with various artists of the label Zezi from Naples. Numerous commitments and contributions in the Kurdish television "Medya-TV" dominated the following years ... In March 2002 Mizgîn's second album "Hêvî" appeared and in May 2006 the album Hesret (translated: "desire") was released. Read more on Last.fm.
