Danger Radio

Danger Radio is an alternative dance-rock band from Everett, Washington (also known for producing bands like Dumt, Bigtop, and Sabre). Using strong influences from modern rock and dance music from the 80s, Danger Radio has a style that blends funk with modern emo rock. Their music tends to be bass-centric, and fast paced similar to artists such as Hellogoodbye, PlayRadioPlay!, and Hot Hot Heat; while they are lyrically more closely oriented to bands such as The Rocket Summer, This Providence, and Daphne Loves Derby. Danger Radio features Andrew De Torres, from The Scene Aesthetic, as their lead singer. Forming in 2005 as a side project for Andrew De Torres, they quickly formed their sound and released their debut LP, The Difference Between Love And Envy. In 2006, Danger Radio released an EP, Punch Your Lights Out, which they sell at their shows. Danger Radio is currently recording their second LP for a release predicted sometime in 2008. They are notorious for frequent appearances as "Top Artists" on Purevolume due to their dedicated fan-base, and usually accompany The Scene Aesthetic on national tours.
