Cindy Sander

Cindy Sander is a young French singer who was brought to instant fame by the TV show "Nouvelle Star", the French adaptation of American Idol. Originally a manicurist from Lorraine, Cindy was unanimously rejected by the jury who immediately branded her square and mocked her style. But the public was quick to sympathize with the girl's amazing self-confidence as well as her 70s-inspired singing and dancing, and thanks to intense campaigning in the media from her fans she was finally invited on stage to perform.
