Amandine Bourgeois

Amandine Bourgeois is the winner of the 6th edition of the talent show "Nouvelle Star" (French version of "Pop Idol"). Born June 12th 1979, Amandine competed against Benjamin Siksou in the season finale that took place June 11th 2008. She ended up at the top spot. A nice birthday gift from her fans. Throughout the whole season, Amandine impressed the judges and the audience with her bold and unexpected choices of song. She covered, amongst others, "Bring Me To Life" (Evanescence), "Hey You" (Pink Floyd), "River Deep Mountain High" (Ike & Tina Turner), "Nothing Compares 2U" (Prince / Sinead O'Connor) or even "Bad Girl" (Donna Summer).
