Atomsplit is a cartoon, comic strip, game, and general multimedia story about an indie rock band who comes into contact with and old school rocker named Bobby Vandertramp who trains the young indie rockers to create and control the Divine Sound Biography Being in a band is fun. But it sure ain’t easy! ATOMSPLIT is dedicated to that fact. With our weekly webcomic strip you can follow the “Adventures in Band Beingness” of (now) fictional indie band Atomsplit and it’s members D. Sazster, Gracie, JT and Colby. Ride along as they encounter the karmic effects of wearing your own band shirt to your own gig, battling the pool table in the bar for an audience, and even go on crazy adventures to promote themselves like a Lawn Mower Race. Not to mention a magic hot dog, a sound man who hates Green Day, and an encounter with a creepy performance art family. But the story doesn't stop there. Next check out the 12 episode comitoon series featuring the ATOMSPLIT characters - "The Vandertramp Saga". The band is finally discovered by Bobby Vandertramp, an aging 70's rock icon. But instead of signing them to a binding recording contract he teaches them the ways of an ancient musical power that lies dormant inside everyone. ATOMSPLIT sets out on an eight city world tour, playing a new song in every city that serves to unlock their powers. But Vandertramp's old nemesis (and current music industry big wig) Derwin Peevil has different plans. After his attempt to sign the band fails he releases an evil clone band called Nucleus Smash on the world. Things heat up, challenges present themselves, and it all culminates in a massive battle of the bands to decide the fate of music across the world.
