Jessica and her family - mum, dad, brother and pet dog - have lived in Middlesbrough for most of Jessica's life, and she's proud of her hometown. She wants to prove to people that there is talent in Middlesbrough! She started singing at the age of six, and had vocal lessons to work towards her exams from that age. She was part of the Middlesbrough Youth Theatre company from a young age, and they put on many musical productions which gave Jessica an interest in performing. In 2008 she was a finalist at the 'Miss Dance' competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens.
