Danish band, formed in 1982. Namen stolen from the wonderful dada-poet Tristan Tzara. Released first album 1984, 'Hej Verden' (Listen to 'Hallo Hallo'), released on own record label, Replik Muzick. Second album released in november 1986 on bigger label Sonet. The record was called 'Blodrus'. Tristan did shake hands with the great, late Billy MacKenzie, at the Roskilde Festival in 1985, where Tristan T and the Assocaites shared the same bill and the same backstage fascilities. Tristan also supported Suicide at Saga, Copenhagen, in 1987. The band took a long break from 1991 till 2005, when it was reformed to record a shining new track - 'Englemund' - one of 30 tracks gathered together for the Tristan T-compilation, 'Alt' (released april 2006).
