The February March is an indie rock band from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Originally formed in 2003 and then knows as Formula, the band has taken a big step forward with their new album City of Glass. Released on Swiss label B&C Entertainment, they recorded the album in February and March 2006 with producer Mark R. Henning (of Combine the Victorious). City of Glass is a collection of 11 songs ranging from the gritty, Springsteen-esque Street Signs, to the organ-drenched epic Something Easy. The album was the product of six months of hard work holed up in an attic in the Vancouver suburbs where the band wrote 50 songs, only selecting the best for recording. City of Glass tackles some difficult personal experiences such as the despair of seeing friends, family members, and fellow down-town east side Vancouverites succumb to drug addiction. "City of Glass is about people and relationships. A lot of the songs deal with the fallout of addictions. But they're definitely not depressing or angry songs. They're about hope, change, and learning from mistakes."
