Pat Flynn is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter best known for his membership in the New Grass Revival. During his tenure with NGR, Pat was voted 'Best Acoustic Guitarist' five years in a row by FRETS magazine's National Readers Poll. For winning five years in a row, Pat was inducted into FRETS 'Gallery Of Greats' alongside Doc Watson, Tony Rice and Chet Atkins. Pat has also been a session guitarist on over 350 CD projects, including 26 Gold or Platinum records with a wide array of top artists. Included in Pat's studio work are several CMA and Grammy award-winning projects, the latest being Randy Travis' Rise and Shine album, and Lee Anne Womack's I Hope You Dance. In addition, Pat wrote and performed on Garth Brooks' hit single Do What You Gotta Do. Pat is a featured artist on the "Nashville Acoustic Sessions" CD project, with Raul Malo, Rob Ickes and Dave Pomeroy, on CMH Records. The record ended up on many critics 'best of the year' list, and achieved top 10 status on the Americana radio chart. Pat is also a featured player on The Greencards much acclaimed debut CD, 'Movin' On' and has just recorded again with them for their newest, due out on DualTone Records this spring. More recently, Pat has added the role of producer to his resume by producing up and coming acts like Tim May, Alan Thornhill, Joe Nolan, David Bevins and Candace Corrigan. In 2004, Flynn released his first solo CD project, entitled 'reQuest'. Appearing with Pat on this project are Béla Fleck, John Cowan, Rob Ickes, Stuart Duncan, Jim Hoke, Buddy Greene, and others.
