Mersenne is a indie-rock band active since 2003 which loves live sets and vintage instruments. In the last two years the band supported: Shout Out Loud, Pedro the Lion, Thrills, Yuppie Flu, The Chalets, Modey Lemon, Eugene Kelly, Marco Parente, Paolo Benvegnù and others. We hope you will like. Mersenne come out in 2003 in the particular indie-cultural forge of Bologna. The trio is made up of Leonardo Borrelli (vocals and guitar), Emiliano Colomasi (bass and vocals) and Cristiano Delfino (drums). With their first songs they start to make them known in the musical scenario of Bologna. In the many celebrated musical contests for rising bands they take part of, the trio is always placed between the finalists. Thanks to their many live performances (more than 100 in the last two years), the name of the band spreads in no time in the alternative scene. Rock magazines and insiders brilliantly review the three demo-tapes. In the meanwhile Mersenne have the chance to perform in some of the greatest festivals: Six Day Sonic Madness, Iceberg, Enzimi, Work Out Festival. They share the stage with well-known Italian and international bands (Yuppie Flu, Paolo Benvegnù, Marco Parente, Pedro the Lion, The Thrills, Shout Out Loud, The Chalets, Modey Lemon, Eugene Kelly). Their name appears in the Atpcd compilation together with Afterhours, Modena City Ramblers and others for two consecutive years. In 2005 they meet and start a very prolific collaboration with Giacomo Fiorenza, a very esteemed indie producer of the Italian alternative scene, till the recording of their first album (Stolen Dresses) in 2006 with the record company Urtovox, proud to support them.
