The band comes from Switzerland and their name touches 'diablic' systems of adjusting to a society no matter if it's about education, politics, work, music business or family. Mephistosystem is critical towards norms and constraints. Tries to put the finger on the wound – just where it hurts. Is like an antibody, which opposes the system. Faces the spirit of our time and at the same time questions it. Is inspired through a continuous search for their positioning in society and by opposing structures and fixed systems. Mephistosystem offers resistance and creates heat through friction. This energy is discharged in their production as well as during their live performances. Already their album “Endless Crawl” (2006) marked the beginning of an “endless” trip through the prolonged confusion of the senses. The single “Anybody Cares” (2005) and several concerts have infected fans in Germany, Italy and Switzerland with the System-virus. 2010 is the moment of a “system reboot”: with the new album “Construction Site” and the video clips “Possessive Greed” and “I Was Here”, Mephistosystem will thoroughly shake up the system once more. On the occasion of the release of “Construction Site” Mephistosystem, along with other partners, has founded the Indie-label Error Music. Their live shows are turning day into night – and make even the devil dance.
