Team Cybergeist is the solo/side project of Angel (best known as the present/past drummer of such bands as Dope, Genitorturers, PIG, Crossbreed, Switched, The Undead, and many others). With this project, Angel brings a collective of musicians from all around the world together to make music through the internet. It is also an outlet for all of Angels remix projects. Angel is currently in the studio working on his first full length CD titled How To Destroy Something Beautiful... Here is what Angel has to say about it: "How to Destroy Something Beautiful is the first release of original material from the Team Cybergeist project. The content of this album is colored by memories and emotions pained with the process of letting go... Confusion. Bitterness. Hope. From the ground up, I have arranged all of these songs by constructing them from bits and pieces of guitar riffs, synth lines, MIDI patterns, and vocal performances composed by different musicians from all around the world. Each contribution was sent to me electronically and then produced in my own studio. This has been an exciting collaborative music project that appreciates both lesser-known local musicians and internationally known artists, putting everyone involved on an equal level. Musicians from all different levels and genres uniting for one single purpose. In a music scene constrained by ruthless competition and heightened egoism, it is exciting to lead a project that unites a team of humble musicians from a diversity of backgrounds, who willingly composed for the love of music. This album is a collaborative effort, meant to break down the hierarchical nature of the music industry. We all hope that you enjoy our collective expressions in the form of these songs." - Angel Some of those who have contributed to Team Cybergeist are: Virus (Dope, Makeshift Romeo) Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour, former-Soulfly) Riggs (Scum Of The Earth, former-Rob Zombie) David "Evil D" Vincent (Morbid Angel, Genitorturers) Bobby Reeves (Adema) Raymond Watts (PIG, former-KMFDM) Nero Bellum (Psyclon Nine) Curse Mackey (Pigface) Alex Moklebust (Zeromancer) Jamie Ryan (former-Kidneythieves) Bizz (Genitorturers, former-The Undead, Bang Deluge) Backslash (Cogsucker) Robin Moulder (TCR, former-Jack Off Jill) Tom Hatziemanouel (Professional Murder Music, Michael Graves) Mikee Plastik (MediaWhore) Jason Knotek (PIG) Vlixx (Helltrash) Jonny Vegas (Erase The Grey, former-Ventana) Andy Anonymous (A Vacant Soul) Krystle Dawn (Disown) Brittany Bindrim (I:Scintilla) Christian Menses (The Rag Dolls) Lexi Love (Independent) Ken Colosa (Satiate) Mode (History Of Violence, former-Fashion Bomb) Carson Duke (Negative Red) Bambi (History Of Violence, former-Fashion Bomb) Vinnie Saletto (Telemetry) Ben Corpse (Corpse Thriller) Spyder Z Prime (PsyKill) Zachary Wirchak (Eliza Rose) Jesse Powers (Synergy Strum) Hayley Jane (Hayley Jane) Kevin Wallace (Mag Ops) Sin Synthetic (Sin Synthetic) Rob "Kudagra" Lewis (338) Kara Hill (In Winter) Emily Dwyer (Independent) Jason Schmidt (Redline Recording Studio) Read more on Last.fm.
