Always fascinated by disco music, in 1978 Marzio Vincenzi convinced his friend Mauro Malavasi to produce his first record, "I'm A Man". The title track, a remake of the Steve Winwood piece, had an immediate and favourable outcome. Subsequently, with the advent of what is identified by many as 'rosco music' (a hybrid between rock and disco) Macho released the album "Roll" in 1980.
