Los Nervios

Los Nervios is mostly Andrés Fontánez. Sometimes by himself, sometimes with the help of his friends, he makes electronic pop to be listened to in the solitude that accompanies us all. He puts under the same sonic roof guitars, sequences, tiple and cuatro puertorriqueño, synths and vocals. In his first EP he colaborates with his mates (Leonardo Velázquez, Noraliz Ruiz and José Olivares) of what once was the band called Oscilador 4. In his first EP, Los Nervios offers a wide variety of sonic landscapes that tap into different musical currents like traditional puertorrican folk music, rock en español, techno, and abstract hip hop. This EP has received some local recognition on the puertorrican magazine Noctambulo, where it was reviewed as one of the top ten best local productions of the year 2004. Currently, Los Nervios is promoting his second EP titled Puede que Hoy Sea Distinto" which was released on June 2007. When playing live Andrés is sometimes joined by José Olivares or Noraliz Ruiz (both ex-members of Oscilador 4). Read more on Last.fm.
