Kylee Saunders (born May 25, 1994 in Arizona, United States), better known mononymously as Kylee, is a American singer of Japanese descent whose singing activities are based in Japan. She is signed onto DefStar Records. Born to an American father and Japanese mother, Kylee became interested in singing thanks to the influence of her father and was exposed to singing from an early age, dreaming of becoming a singer and often performing in front of crowds. When she was eleven years old, she passed an audition to perform the national anthem at the opening segment of an NBA game, earning a standing ovation. Soon after, this performance earned her the interest of music producers and she was signed onto the independent label RX-Records. Under RX-Records, she released her first single "Vacancy" on December 3, 2008, which was featured as the ending theme to the Sony Computer Entertainment anime series, Xam'd: Lost Memories. On March 24, 2010 Kylee will be releasing her major debut single under Sony Music Japan's label DefStar Records, titled "Kimi ga Iru Kara" (キミがいるから?, "Because You Are Here").
