Kool Sphere

Growing up in Queens, New York, Kool Sphere was exposed to hip-hops cream of the crop including; Run DMC, Nas, and most important, Kool G Rap. Kool Sphere immersed himself in all elements of the hip-hop culture from break dancing to graffiti. Kool studied the art form by listening closely to artists he respected like; Gangstarr, DJ Premier, AZ, Nas and Kool G Rap. He developed his own signature style while incorporating the respect persona these artists portrayed and eventually mastered his craft as a hip-hop artist. Kool Sphere formed the group Verbal Threat with his long time rhyming partner M.C. Reppond, they went on to record an underground classic single entitled Reality Check produced by Dj Premier, the first video Reality Check was produced by Dan the Man from G-Unit Films and was played on MTV U and VH1, had more than a million views on YouTube, and was nominated for an MW VMA Award in 2008. In the Winter of 2007 Kool started development for Integritty and by Spring he was in the studio. Integritty contains 16 well crafted tracks raising the bar of lyricism to new heights. For Integritty, Kool enlisted hip-hop legends AZ, Kool G Rap, Smoothe Da Hustler, Lil Dap from Group Home, Smiley The Ghetto Child, and Wu-Tang Clan’s Bronze Nazareth.
