Jerez Coleman, professionally known as Kidd Cole, is an American record producer and DJ from Prince George's County Maryland. He is perhaps best known for being the official producer signed to Compton-bred rapper YG, as well as ghost producing a string of hit singles, Cole's production style has been described as a up-tempo, club oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop style. This style has snowballed into a subgenre of West Coast hip hop, which he calls "ratchet music". Spite various events throughout his life he has stand firmed behind his musical talents. In June 2014, Lil' Mo revealed via Instagram her relation that she had an estranged stepson nicknamed Kidd Cole, who infamously appeared on an episode of MTV's television series Catfish: The TV Show. Rapper YG declined to comment on Cole's appearance. Cole's debut album under the label, 1995, set to be released released on June 26, 2015.
