The Keenants come to life in 2001 from an idea of Marco (drums) and Millo ( guitar) that create the first tracks but not long after Gabriele joins the band with the bass and gives a personal contribution to the songs. Keenants than find Luca as the group's vocalist and together they record their first Ep called Let's start … The EP is than played in clubs and advertised in magazines and web receiving good reviews from the press and the public. In 2003 Francesco ( guitar ) joins the band and complete keenant's formation that still exist today. The five members close themselves in a studio to record the second EP ( DEMO 2004 A.D.) that featured in concerts around Italy gain keenants further notoriety and a lager fans base. With their growing success, the group dedicates the summer of 2004 to autonomously record and mix new track for their first LP and sends a 7 tracks advance to get a label. Soon after, with the help of Carlo Bellotti, singer of GF93, and his promotion agency Alkemist- Fanatix Keenants get signed to their first label Casket/Copro Records. Read more on Last.fm.
