Jose Galisteo (born on February 24, 1977, Viladecans, Spain) is a music appasionate since he was a child, at the age of 12 starts studying solfeggio and piano for several years. He finishes the studies of secondary in Viladecans, his city of birth, and at the age of 20 he do the military service in Jaca (Huesca). On his return, he establishes his residence in the city of Barcelona and joins as a vocalist in the orchest "Mediterranean". After eight years singing in small places, he make the castings of the music TV program Operation Triunfo ( Pop Idol in Spain), that brings to him big opportunities in the musical market. He was sixth finalist in the edition of 2006. In May, 2007 he records his first album, "Remember" an album of covers of 80's and 90's hits, in english, a production of DaBruk and the label Vale Music/Universal, managing to be kept in the official list of sales Promusicae for several months. He edits two singles, " I Promised Myself " with an original videoclip where he appears as a boy of a calendar, and " Big In Japan ", which videoclip recorded in Paris, Jose appears with a sexy Japanese model. In 2008 obtains the prize Garamond for his album "Remember" granted in Madrid for a juror formed by great musicians and producers of the musical national scene. He make two tours (2007 and 2008) that take him for the whole national territory and also France (Paris), Andorra, Lyon and Bern. In February, 2009 he goes to Paris to prepare his new album and produce some of the thirteen songs of his new album, his second studio album in three years. On October 26, 2009 he edits " Luces y Sombras" (lights and shadows), repeating production with DaBruk and with Andreas Rickstrand's (Sweden), Tony Sanchez-Ohlsson, and Kareem Junior (French producer living in Barcelona) as additional producers. Jose Galisteo debuts as a executive producer, under the label Label Sound Records, with headquarters in Barcelona. His first single "Lógicamente No" (logically Not) is a dance hit, with a suggestive videoclip, where Jose Galisteo tells us a story of love cheating. "Luces y Sombras" contains 13 pop electronic songs and three remixes, in Spanish, guarantees Jose Galisteo in this style of music and turns into a strong bet for the electronic music and dance music of this country. Nowadays preparing his new tour "Luces y Sombras 2010 " in the national territory and several cities of south Europe. In February, 2010 he tries to represent Spain in the Festival of Eurovision 2010 with the song "Beautiful Life", where Jose obtains the pass for the final phase in a show of TVE-1, after staying between the ten first ones in the internet votings, among more than 400 participants. In the special program ' Target Oslo ' of TVE-1 he obtains a fourth position of the popular vote. In April, 2010 he launches the maxisingle "Beautiful Life" with five tracks including remixes of Danny Oton (Barcelona) and Mitchel Roland (Miami) and with an elegant videoclip recorded in Barcelona.
