Jon Jafari (born in 1990) is an American game reviewer and comedian. Like other reviewers, Jon Tron tends to tackle some of the worst games out there; Star Wars Kinect, Home Improvement: The SNES Game and Daikatana, just to mention a few. He began making videos in August 2010, where he introduced his well-known companion Jacques (a parrot with a disturbing robotic voice and red glowing eyes). Shortly after creating his own show, JonTronShow, he teamed up with PeanutButterGamer and they founded Normalboots. The site has developed and they have been joined by others since then. The site closed in the summer of 2012. Jon Tron's friend, and also a huge YouTube celebrity, Egoraptor (Arin Hanson), got together and launched in the same summer a new channel on YouTube, Game Grumps, where they play games together, and provide live commentary about it. Mostly, they make inane chatter and laugh themselves hoarse, being similar in temperament.. Jon Tron's happiness in life comes from videogames, friendship and music. He covered several songs that are featured in all of his channels, usually at the end of his videos. Egoraptor sometimes get the spotlight with rap songs and such but Jafari's pop tunes are eagerly expected from their audience and undoubtedly highly praised. His most known cover is his take on Katy Perry's "Firework". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
