DeStorm (pronounced Day-Storm), a Baltimore City native, fell in love with entertainment at a very young age. With a passion for music and art, yet no professional training, he is both artistically gifted and extremely driven. At the age of 15 he received a scholarship to Baltimore City School of The Arts. He later went on to make a living drawing and painting church murals and portraits. DeStorm attended BSU (Bowie State University) where he majored in Music and Fine Arts. Also an excellent athlete, he received a scholarship in Track and Field and competed in the long jump, triple jump and 400m dash at the Olympic level. He later went on to become a Certified Master Trainer specializing kick boxing, speed dynamics, and sports specific training and trains numerous clients regularly to this day. DeStorm is also a talented singer, songwriter and producer. He is the founder and CEO (1998) of Platinum Rings Productions, a cutting edge music production company aimed at creating new and unique R&B/HipHop/Pop/Reggae music for established and up and coming artist in the USA and abroad. He has established a successful underground presence by creating unique drops and intros for over 100 popular DJ's throughout the world. His music has also been featured in national commercial spots such as WinterFresh, KFC, Heinz, Lea and Perrins and Showtime at the Apollo. In 2005 DeStorm moved to NYC. Working with Dooby at Bad Boy Records, he eventually began ghostwriting and producing for artists at major labels including Atlantic Records and Universal Music Group. DeStorm, a current SAG member, now resides in Brooklyn, NY. While he has many talents, DeStorm is currently focusing on his acting and music career. He has also found success through YouTube, where he has been able to put his musical and acting talents on display for over 20,000 subscribers and growing. With over 3 million video views, DeStorm was selected to become a YouTube Partner, an honor reserved for only the best internet giants who in exchange for their top notch content receive revenue from YouTube/Google.
