Jon Santos Former singer of Seven Wiser has now put together his first solo album. Jon Has been part of the music biz for well over 10 years. Signed with wind up record back in 2003-4 with his former band seven wiser Jon has stepped away from music, his management and life, to venture off on his other passion, photography. Jon Has opened his first photo studio on Long Island, NY. Now that he has started a new life, he can put back some of his focus in to his first love, music. This First Solo album from Jon has some of the new work that started off as the 2nd seven wiser album. but it never took flight cuz never was heard or pushed to the right people. giving health problems with some of the band members and money problem at that time. the project of seven wiser was finally dropped. "Don't get the rong idea now, " seven wiser " the band name is gone, but i'll still be working with some of the guys from seven wiser. Bill and i will still be playing together, and writing together, and we will be seeing how things go with the other guys. I really just wanted to now step away from the band name, get a new start. It has been a bit of a plan for years to step away from the band name and try other things. I even looked around for other bands. Back a few years I even took a trip out to L.A. and auditioned for FUEL when they where looking. I got an email from a friend saying, I just heard that FUEL is looking for a singer, that I should try to see if i can get an audition. So I sent in a demo singing one of there songs, and was asked to go out to LA get on a stage with them and have an audition. well as we all know I didnt get the part. So i came back to NY and finished up with the music that Bill and I have been working on, and found our selfs looking for a new label. We found a small label Crash Music and after getting the run around with them i hit a point that i jsut didnt want anything to do with them any more. I felt if they really wanted to put me out there and had plans for me they wouldnt have jerked me around for a year and did ZERO. This time around (after now 2 failed record deals- wind up record and crash music) I wanted to push a solo name cuz over the years band members seem to change in this band like underwear, and live so far from eachother, that its just easyer to do it this way. Just start over, Solo Name, look for new management, do what ever i can on my own, cuz u can do a lot today and just hope a new label picks me up again " - Jon Read more on Last.fm.
