Hailing from Los Angeles, In Virgo is a hard hitting, high energy, industrial tinged rock/metal band comprised of Chris Hodges (vocals) and Chris Egert (guitar, synth, programming). The band's self titled, debut album delivers a powerful punch of Hodges’ pop-infused, soaring, emotionally fueled vocals driven by Egert’s high-octane guitar riffs percolating synths and explosive drum tracks. Citing influences as diverse as Filter, Nine Inch Nails, Evanescence, Rob Zombie, Stabbing Westward and Rammstein, the overall flavor of the tunes reflect the energy and catharsis the duo experiences through their live performance, the lyrical subject matter finding easy resonance with their audience, while still maintaining a fiercely introspective and personal quality.
