I Gave Back

I Gave Back was a four piece band from Lviv, Ukraine that was formed in August, 2009. Current line-up was formed in September, 2009. Newcomer Ilya Orlov on bass guitar duties displayed the talent this band really has. In summer 2010 they recorded three demo songs. In 2010-11 the band performed on multiple shows, sharing the stage with various european bands. On March and July 2011 I Gave Back had national tours. In October 2011 they released their first EP album "2 Fast 2 Lose", - inspired by fast and technical punk rock bands such as A Wilhelm Scream, Belvedere, NOFX etc. November 2012 was a time of their second EP album release - "Stories, Fairy Tales and Fate", the one that is more in a pop-punk / melodic hardcore sound. "Stories, Fairy Tales and Fate" was released on .aorte Records. On Friday August 2nd, 2013, the band announced its end on Facebook. "Friends! In connection with a bunch of personal circumstances, it is time to take decisions. Over the past 3 years, a lot of events happened, just been made a bunch of well-considered, and not ... At this point, by mutual agreement, it was decided to suspend the activities of the group. It's really difficult to announce the news, but also, we do not see a continuation of the story ... Thank you for that shared all this time with us, sincerely happy listening to our music, and created our mood.
