# Frank "Honeyboy" Patt (Fostoria, Alabama, September 1, 1928) whose "Bloodstains on the Wall" single sold about 50,000 copies. Patt shouldn't be confused with Mississippi Delta bluesman David "Honeyboy" Edwards. # Honeyboy ''Keith Williams'' (Honeyboy and Honeyboy Martin are two different people) was born in St Elizabeth Jamaica.He went to live in the UK at an early age and was educated in Oxford. In his teens, he went to live in London where he attended Mount View Theatre School of Acting. As well as an actor and of course a singer, he is also a song writer/instrumentalist and producer. His debut single released 1971- titled ''Jamaica'' on Trojan. The follow up ''Sweet Cherrie/Impossible love'' for Creole Records, was a massive success for him, and '72 he defined a new style/sound reggae which was later called 'lovers rock'. As a free lance he recorded for various companies such as Third World, Ethnic Fight, Bamboo, Sir Collins,Empire, World Sounds, Joe Gibbs, Tabansi (Nigeria) Music Play (Brazil). Some of the many artistes and producers he has worked with are '' Sidney Crooks, Eddy Grand, Borris Gardiner, Aswad, Jackie Robin,Robby Shakespare, Jackie Mittoo, Eric Donaldson, Bunny Lee, Junior Lincoln, Rupie Edwards, Joe Gibbs and many more.
