To sing Opera requires stamina, volume and a dramatic vocal interpretation. GARI GLAYSHER is no ordinary Tenor, he has a unique warmth of voice that is extremely beautiful, and as a Spinto Tenor it is both strong and powerful. Gari is a modest man from London and a former bricklayer, heavy weight boxer and national Tae Kwon Do champion,he has worked hard to achieve his dream. Studying with both English and Italian vocal music and drama coaches,he has a large repetoire of arias, duets, Neopolitan and English songs which he has performed for Prince Albert of Monaco and HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex,he has also sung for the Italian, Spanish, English and Danish Ambassador's, at venues including, The Royal Albert Hall,The Studio Theatre in The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, The Port Theatre (Vancouver), Hever Castle, The Royal Courts of Justice, The Natural History Museum,The Tate Modern,The Dali Museum, Squeryes Court, Chartwell and Harrods. Recently Gari hosted his own show with guests at indegO2, part of the millenium dome in London to great acclaim. June 26th sees the launch of Garis NEW ALBUM Serenata with many favorites including songs written especially for him by Cristina Pavarotti who wrote songs for her fathers albums.
