Gaële, a young Québécoise singer-songwriter originally from the French Alps, released her first album, Cockpit, in 2008. Mixing electro-pop sounds and traditional French music, Cockpit reveals the unique universe of Gaële. Winner of the Festival en chanson de Petite-Valleé in 2005, finalist of the Festival International de la chanson de Granby in 2005 and recipient of the interpretation prize at the Festival Pully Lavaux, Gaële has wind in her sails and is throwing her body and soul into her work. She wrote the lyrics, the music, took part in creating the arrangements, and even painted eleven canvases illustrating each of the eleven songs on her debut album. Read more on Last.fm.
