G.R.L. is an American-British-Canadian girl group formed by Robin Antin in 2013 based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. The original lineup consisted of Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton, Paula van Oppen and Simone Battle. On September 6, 2014, it was announced that Simone Battle had passed away, leaving the group as a quartet. The group is managed by Larry Rudolph with the remaining members. The group was originally meant to act as a replacement for The Pussycat Dolls, but this plan was changed in February 2013 and the group debuted as G.R.L. The group released an eponymous EP G.R.L with hit single Ugly Heart and was also featured on Pitbull's single Wild Wild Love. They split in June 2015 and reformed one year later in June 2016.
