Fu is a Polish rapper. He's been active on the hip-hop scene since it's very beginnings in Poland. He is known for working with bands like Zip Skład and Zipera. He was first heard in 1998 on DJ 600V's album "Produkcja Hip-Hop", where he appeared together with other mamebers of Zip Skład. After that, he appeared on Wzgórze Ya-Pa-3's album "Ja Mam To Co Ty" and on a compilation called "Hip-Hopowy Raport z Osiedla". In 1999 he made a guest appearance on another compilation "600 Kilovolt" by DJ 600V and in September Zip Skład released it's first album "Chleb Powszedni". In 2000 he appeared on the sequel to "Hip-Hopowy Raport z Osiedla" where he rapped together with Pono. As a member of Zipera he released the album "O.N.F.R." which gained them respect on the Polish hiphop scene. He made guest appearances on albums of many polish hiphop artists including: WWO, Pono, Ski Skład, Magiera & L.A., WNB, Waco and Olsen. Although Fu was busy creating new material with Zipera, he decided to record a solo album. "N.O.C.C." was released in 2002. One of his biggest hits, "Paradox", comes from this album. Later that year he released his second solo album titled "Futurum" which was different from "N.O.C.C.'s" street rap style thanks to Fu's newly acquired reggae influences. In 2004 Zipera recorded it's second album tiled "Druga Strona Medalu" which was released by Prosto. He also released his third solo album, "Wrodzony Instynkt" which featured his biggest hit "Raptowne Realia" featuring Poland's top ragga and dancehall artists. In 2005 Fu and Olson (WNB) WNB released a full length album titled "Kameleon" (Chameleon). The name comes from the fact that the album was very versatile, both musically and in terms of rhymes. Their goal was to give the listeners something fresh and interesting. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
