The band was born in Italy in 1999 when three students with common musical tendencies got together. Vice and his band perform the Sound of Seattle, better known as Grunge, in an original and personal way. In 2001 Fallingice recorded a demo with five of their own songs. Among these songs, "Another Day" won the national musical contest COOP FOR MUSIC in Italy, where this song was frequently broadcasted on the radio. 20.000 copies of the compilation of the above contest, including "Another Day", were sold together with the magazine Rockstar and in big stores all over Italy. In 2003 and 2004 Fallingice topped the charts of Alternative/punk and Grunge on VITAMINIC.COM in America, Germany, England, France and other European countries.In 2005 Red House Recordings (Linea 77, Rob "Pj Harvey" Ellis, Charlotte Hatherley, OJM etc...) appreciated their music and co-produced their first EP, which was recorded in early 2006. In May 2007 FALLINGICE signed a record deal with UKDIVISION RECORDS, a newly based label in the Uk that will release their debut album with a worldwide distribution. Read more on Last.fm.
