Four lads from London have been brought together to form a sonically charged rock n' roll group. Melody, feedback and inspirational lyrics are all the elements that create DND. In 2000 Rob and Andreas, having played together for several years in local Estonian bands (Macbeth, Skydancer, The Bleach), left for the UK after having sold their equipment beforehand to raise funds for their trip. They stumbled across local drummer Gavin who shared a similar taste in music. The music started drifting in another direction and as a result DND was formed in 2003. After releasing their debut album "Low Budget Rock`N`Roll" - Erik, the bands original guitarist left at the back end of 2004 and was replaced with Ed, a long time brother in shared interests of music and guitars. In 2006 DND released their second CD, this time a six track EP entitled 'Time To Fight', influenced by bands from East and West, namely Kino, Metro Luminal, Joy Division, The Cure etc. Within the last couple of years DND have been pushing the boundaries of the unsigned alternative rock music scene, gaining further reputation and excellent reviews, also playing well known venues such as The Barfly, The Waterats, The Hope & Anchor, The Underworld, Dublin Castle & bigger venues such as The Marquee, Scala & The Leas Cliff Hall . The band now has 2 videos under their belt for the tracks "Twenty Seven" and "Shake It Tonight" the latter being a reflection of a recent tour. 2009 saw a slightly updated sound, with new drummer Chris - following original drummer Gav's emigration to Australia - adding backing vocals to the mix. DND play exciting, fresh music & by mixing that with the energetic live performances they pull off, gig after gig, it leaves you with the sweet taste of a rock n' roll cocktail in your mouth..
