There are multiple artists that go under the name Dumb. 1) Dumb were an alternative indie band from Birmingham formed in 2013 and split in 2014. " Influenced by the likes of Pavement, The Cribs and cult American indie rock heroes Built To Spill, Dumb’s transatlantic, guitar-heavy sound and self-assured swagger has already caught the attention of NME and BBC Radio 1. I know it’s a bit crude or garish, but we like everything to be in your face.” Following a string of single releases and a debut gig at London’s Koko, the band embarked upon a rigorous gigging ritual, sharing the stage with the likes of Darlia, Skaters, LSA, Superfood, Baby Strange and Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs plus a memorable night opening their manager, Jon Brookes’ memorial night at Royal Albert Hall last October.Singer, Dylan says “It felt more natural than any other gig we’d done. We were just soaking up the whole experience playing alongside such Great British heavyweights as New Order, The Vaccines and The Charlatans.” 2) Dumb has been involved with the Finnish underground hiphop scene since the very early days.
