The Clemson University Tiger Band is known as the "Band that Shakes the Southland." Directed by Dr. Mark Spede, Tiger Band is one of the premiere College bands in the nation, winning countless awards. Of course, they are most notably known for their rendition of Tiger Rag..."The Song that Shakes The Southland." Tiger Band is a main driving force in the tempo of the fans at Clemson sports events, especially football games. Tiger Band has also released several albums in years past. The most recent of these was released in 2004, called "We're An American Band." The album featured tunes from Earth Wind & Fire, Survior, AC/DC, as well as classic Clemson Tunes.
