Bobby Knuxx Castro: Born Carlos (Carlitos) Waldemar Taylor-Ayala on May ,24th, 1982 in Brooklyn,Ny Early Life Castro was born as the result of his Mother's infidelity to the father of his 2 brothers and sister. His father was a foreman at a factory his mother and uncle worked. After years having affairs, Ayala's mother ended up pregnant with another man's baby. Ayala would be born in Brooklyn, Ny and was raised off and on by his mother and step father, and living with his grandparents who were "take no shit Puerto Ricans". Castro would spend a lot of his childhood in between Brooklyn to Puerto Rico. "Growing up like i did i felt like i had to get attention, so i did things, bad things, i was a mean little shit because i got my ass beat every day i went home to my mama" Castro would escape family woes with a small group of friends, smoking marijuana, hanging out in the streets stealing and skipping school,fighting other kids and meeting girls. At age 14 he was arrested for resisting arrest and attempted assault on peace officer, after being chased by a truancy officer who was also a Nypd patrolman. When he was 15 Castro Ended up in the East Ny Section of Brooklyn,NY. "that's where i became a man,i got with my first girl there, won my first fist fight there,sprayed my first bomb there,got my first set of turntables there..it's where i fell in love with hip hop...and the streets, everyday was better than the next, you never wanted to be inside, you might miss something!" MUSIC Castro has been noted to be a Turntablist, a beat producer and mc. Noted for his multi-syllable rhyme schemes and off the top subjects and lyrics as well as a far to the left political radical. Castro has expressed his interest in all music but wishes to be considered and Hip Hop artist first in 2011 Bobby Knuxx Castro released Genocide Genre independently and sold less than 1000 copies, but Castro said he stands by his album, [quoted]"Im not the big dog yet, it takes time to establish yourself from the ground up, one day it'll be worth something" [ NAMES AND ALIASES the name KNUXX was a name given during adolescence, Castro had a massive temper and loved to fight, hence the nickname 'Knuxx" BOBBY CASTRO the name is a tribute to 2 people he says influenced him and the combination of the 2 he says defines his style of music. Bobby- is a reference and tribute Black Panther co-founder Bobby Seal Castro- is a reference to Cuba's revolutionary leader Fidel Castro FAMILY Castro's birth father was a half irish/english white and Spanish being born in England with a mother from Spain. Castro's mother is Puerto Rican of Indigenous descent. Castro's stepfather was Dominican of African descent, his stepfather was the Father of his siblings. Castro has 2 brothers one deceased and one with a family in Queens, NY also has one sister also married living in Bronx,Ny Castro refers to his Grandmother (mother's side) as his actual mother, saying she and his grandfather raised him and taught him about respect. They are both deceased and buried in Lares, Puerto Rico. Languages Bobby Castro is bilingual speaking Spanish and english fluent.
