A sideline songwriter for decades, Bob became a true recording artist in November, 2009 with the release of his single "Highway of Heroes," an anthemic tribute to fallen soliders and the ordinary Canadians who turn out by the thousands to honour them along Highway 401 from Trenton to Toronto any time a Canadian troop comes home for the last time. "Highway of Heroes" is written and performed by Bob Reid (lead vocal, grand piano). Produced by Blair Packham. Featuring ex-Triumph guitar master Rik Emmett on lead guitar, plus Blair Packham (guitars, backing vocals, percussion), Paul DeLong (drums), Mike Pellarin (bass), Curtis Reid (military snare) and Michael Zweig (guitar).
