project HYPOXIA

project Hypoxia (formerly just "Hypoxia") is Russian experimental music project from Kaliningrad, founded by Mark Shaman and Khristina Teermaal in June 2007. Once they agreed to work together they had chosen the project name by picking a random word from the dictionary. Khristina left the project in August 2009 and presently Hypoxia is one-man's project. The Russian netlabel "Dark System" released Hypoxia's debut album "Lamia" in 2011. In 2013 the project changed name from "Hypoxia" to "project Hypoxia". Since 2014 the project has expanded to two people - now Maria "Pika" (violin) is also part of line-up. Read more on Last.fm.
