djBC is a DJ from Boston who's had some recent success in creating mash-up songs. His best known works involve mixing the Beatles with the Beastie Boys into what he calls 'The Beastles'. His tracks, which were once available as free downloads off his website, djbc.net, got removed after a threatening letter from some legal-types. He's released other material over the years, an example being remixed Christmas music. Also notable was his 'Glassbreaks' album, which involved Philip Glass's material being mixed up a variety of hip-hop artists. That project had an even shorter lifetime before the lawyers called, though dj BC mentioned at the time that they were "nice" about it. Read more on Last.fm.
