DJing for about 8 years now, Sean Fitzgerald aka Twixx received his first pair of turntables in 2002 when he was 14 years old. At first, DJing was only a small hobby that was done for hours at a time. During high school, a career in music (especially DJing) didn’t seem to be a realistic idea, rather an awesome fantasy. It wasn’t until college where Sean really started to set out to pursue a life as a DJ. In his freshman dorm, he met his neighbor and soon to be music partner, Will Lake aka [VLLN] (pronounced- ”villain”.) Will and Sean spent most of their sophomore year working on mashups and recording live sets to give to people around campus. Determined, Sean wanted to be the best DJ around but still had ways to go. In 2008, Sean met a local store owner named Papu, who allowed Sean to DJ during store hours. The fourOsix is a local snowboard, ski, and apparel store located right in the heart of downtown. This allowed Sean to get some face time and play in front of people walking through the store. After this experience, Sean found himself playing more and more shows for larger crowds. Playing everything from fashion shows to rail jams, Sean has established himself as a hard working artist. Sean’s style is constantly changing but has recently he has found a niche in the progressive dance scene that has blown up over the last few years. He has also recently started working on producing new dance beats and hopes to start touring around the country soon. Read more on Last.fm.
