boston-based capsela is a two-person recording project between paige davis and jay harlow. self-described as "tiny music," they blend electronic and acoustic instruments into sixties-influenced homemade pop. capsela self-released an ep in 2001, and has released songs on two compilations: bumblebear's "christmas underground"; and planting seeds' "dreaming up the perfect pop". their first full-length album, "you're not listening to me," (2004) accumulates their previously-released material with newer recordings, and was mastered by jeff lipton (magnetic fields, mary timony).
