Zort is the pseudonym under which Andres Oddone, Andres Zunino and Adrian Bertol got together. - In 1998 the story of Zort begins as a project of Andres Oddone and Agustin Goya, editing the album Anillo Saturiano, a group of pieces inscribed in trip hop and breakbeat. From this album was extracted the piece Sad 2n, and it was edited in the compilation Terraza, produced by Proa Rec (Label belonging to Proa Foundation, Argentina). - In 2001 Zort edits with the label Aerodiscos the album Retornar de las mareas, 13 pieces that appeared revising different musical genre experienced by the members of the group and interacting with other musicians from Cordoba. From that album the piece Smooth was extracted to be edited in the compilation Visionario, produced by the Centro Cultural Espana Cordoba, Argentina. That same year they join the artistic Production Boltown Rec, where they make a series of video clips such as Los Idiotas and Retornar de las mareas, colective creations with the colaboration of the artist Tomos Espina. The video clip Los Idiotas was exhibited in the Video Art Festival in Colombia. Andres Zunino joins the group. - In 2002, Adrian Bertol, after playing several times in various shows, becomes the last member of the group. - In 2003 Zort edits an album called Mas Poco and made a series of concerts with an audiovisual support to present this Cd in different countries of Europe. In this tour they make a series of video clips such as Eva, Super Fracaso and Encontrando al Amancai. The same year Aguston Goya had to leave for work reasons, (even though he is always present, as can be heard in the music, and adding his energy all the time). - In 2004 17 pieces of Zort, some still inedits and others from the albums: Anillo Saturiano, Retornar de las Mareas and Mas Poco were selected to be the music for the film Alias Alejandro.... directed by Alejandro Cardenas, and produced by Sabotaje Films for the German television channel Zdf. In november of the same year Zort made in Europe a series of concerts with an audiovisual support to present a compilation of pieces from all their albums. - In 2005, Zort independently edited their album Foco Lejos and completed a promotional tour of the album in various cities in Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic. During this tour, they created the video clip for the piece Paso a la vida, under the direction of visual artist Martín Granata. - In 2006, Zort presented some of their pieces and video clips in Mexico DF, as part of the first presentations of producer Pino Rec. These took place Thursday, June 15th of 2006 at 10pm at the Centro Cultural de España in México (Guatemala 18 Col. Centro) and Saturday June 17th of 2006 at 4pm, as part of the Fete de la Musique that occurred in the La Casa de Francia in México. The video clip of the pieces Los Idiotas was edited in the Czech Republic by the label Surreal Madrid (www.surrealmadrid.com). - Zort has performed live in many cultural centers, festivals and danceable spaces in Spain, Denmark, The Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico and Argentina.
