Wilson Das Neves

Wilson das Neves is a famous drummer in Brazil. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, in 1936, and he learned to play drums with Edgard N. Rocca (Bituca), Luciano Perrone, for which he is eternally grateful to them. He played with pratically every great musician of his generation, have become one of most famous names in Samba, and always played with the best: Chico Buarque, Elis Regina, Roberto Carlos, Elizeth Cardoso, Elza Soares, Beth Carvalho, Michel Legrand, Sarah Vaughan, Toots Tillermann... There is before Wilson das Neves, and then there's after Wilson das Neves.
