Velorum was founded in late 2001 by Pennsylvanians Dana Fehr (The Illumini/Turmoil/Digger) and Pete Brown (Sound of Reverse/Watching the Moon). After recording a demo with the help of drummer Tony Lipovsky, Fehr and Brown moved to Austin, Texas. There they recruited ex-Gorilla Biscuits drummer Luke Abbey. Velorum disbanded in 2005 after releasing an official EP. Pete now plays in Watching the Moon and These Men Are Liars. Dana does live sound for bands like Pelican and lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
