Rising from the ashes of a much maligned and misunderstood music collective known as “The Four Fishermen From The County of Kildare”, like a lazy bear awaking from a winter slumber in search of it’s first kill of a new season, Penfold dm, masterminded by Brendan Cooke and Keith Crossan, emerged with a common goal which both had been striving towards since birth – GLOBAL DOMINATION. Armed with just two guitars and some catchy tunes which had appeared to Brendan in several non-consecutive dreams, they set about recruiting several like minded genius types to form a band so powerful that they could set even the most rigid feet tapping within a two mile radius (up to four miles if there was a strong breeze). Kerry. The next step was to record and release a mini-album entitled “Mama Lou Funk’s Big Night Out”. National radio play and newspaper coverage followed, along with ego-boosting and quite embarrassing levels of hero worship, but the band has not allowed this to distract them from their primary goal. As for what the future holds for Penfold dm, if we told you, we’d have to kill you. And that wouldn’t be good for our image… www.penfolddm.com Read more on Last.fm.
