Vast Vision

The young Dutch man Stijn Coppieters (1986) has always had a love for music. During his young years he listened a lot to music, mostly to what his father listened. Bands like Pink Floyd and Genesis are the musical influences he grew up with. His first real interest with music he showed during his music classes at the age between 9 and 12. He seemed to have great feeling for rhythm and musical composition. After that he didn’t really do anything with this talent until September 2003 when he got his hands on his first music software ever. During that period he also became friends with Roland Andriese (1985) who learned him the basics of digital music production. Roland grew up with music just like Stijn did. Both his grandfather and father played the piano and he was dying to do the same. From a young age he was interested in electronical music from for example Daft Punk. Because of his spreaded interests he was forced to choose between computers and music. He chose for computers, but he could not stop playing with music. After joining a team that was working on a modification for a game, he met Stijn and they decided to try making some music together. Read more on Last.fm.
