Turn Of Mind is a metalcore band from Hungary originating in a small town called Páty in the greenbelt of Budapest. They are one of the most exciting and talented young newly formed metalcore band in Hungary. The sound of Turn Of Mind is characterized by a mix of powerful riffing, double bass drum patterns, dynamic vocals and catchy keyboard melodies. They mix the heavy riffs with singing and screaming vocals, covering a range from low-pitched growls to the higher-pitched screams with a real extraordinary talent from such young musicians. Turn Of Mind in its current form spent practically the whole summer of 2006 rehearsing and writing songs. They have completed altogether 10 songs, which get great reaction from the young audience. From fall they started doing shows in Budapest and in some other cities in Hungary with popular metal bands of the country. The band’s current line-up comprises Attila Németh (Ati) 16 years old, as vocalist, László Németh (Lackó) 20 years old, keyboards, Tamás Sági (Tomka) 20 years old, on guitar, and Balázs Ferich (Fish) 20 years old, on bass. Bence Brucker (Bruki) 17 years old, on guitar and Balázs Tardos, 20 years old, on drums who have already been seen playing in several other local bands earlier joined the band, taking the roles of two former members, after their first performance on May 6th 2006. The first EP of Turn Of Mind was recorded in December titled New World. In 2007 they entered the METALCHAMP band contest and recieved first place in the Hungarian finals and made it to the semi finals in Vienna. There the band got into the first three.
