Six bands go by the name Troika. 1. Troika are a new age band from the USA, featuring David Arkenstone. 2. Troika are a japanese punk band raised from the ashes of Fullscratch 3. Troika were an alternative band from Glasgow Scotland. Born on Halloween 1999, Troika consisted of drummer Paul Agnew, vocalist Andy Bonar (now bass player in Q without U), guitarist Neil Milton and bass player Iain Murnin. They released an e.p, and a 7" single on Too Many Fireworks records (Glasgow) before Iain left due to family commitments. Iain was briefly replaced by Gavin Thompson (formerly of Flying Matchstick Men and now of Findo Gask) before the band finally split in 2005. 4. Troika are a 4 piece Progressive Experimantal Death Metal band from Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. They were formed in June 2009 and have one home recorded song called 'Abstraction'. www.myspace.com/troikametal 5. Troika are a 3 piece experimental band from New York City. They are drummer Derek Lucci, pianist Rohme Giuliano, and bassist Jonathan Stein. They released their debut "Two Worlds" on March 29th, 2011. 6. Troika is an experimental rock 4-piece formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2009. Comprising of Dorian Lemonnier on drums/vocals, Alan Kang on guitar/vocals and David Webber on bass/vocals, they recently added a fourth member Vanessa Morrison on keys/vocals.
